Panther Night/Football Jamboree – Aug 20/21

This week’s upcoming events where Project Grad will be present soliciting volunteers and donations. We still need volunteers to help both nights. Senior parents, this means you! Events start each evening at 6PM but Project Grad be setting up prior to that. If you can help either evening, please contact Julie Osborne or Sisie Folkers:

Panther Night! Thursday, Aug 2oth

You are invited to a ribbon cutting for the newly-renovated  Panther Stadium and track. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 6 p.m.  Thursday, Aug. 20, at part of the annual Panther Night. The night’s activities begin at 5 p.m. when volleyball players will play an exhibition game in the high school gym; softball players will have an exhibition game at the softball field; and soccer players will scrimmage on the field. The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 6 p.m. at the stadium, and will include the Panther Pride marching band, the cheerleaders and the Prowlers dance team. Cross country team members plan to run through the stadium on the new track. Other fall sports coaches and players may be represented. Everyone is welcome to attend. Following the ribbon-cutting, the junior varsity and ninth grade football teams will scrimmage on the field.

Football Jamboree! Friday, Aug 21st

Come on out to Panther Stadium and watch RayPec, Belton, Harrisonville and other nearby high schools scrimmage on the new field! Lots of football action. Get a preview of the upcoming RayPec football season!
